Education is the basis of all development, a right for all. Social justice will undeniably be attained through the right to education because through education, people acquire the knowledge and skills to know their rights and their responsibilities, able to play an active role in the development of their nation in a dominant cultural, economic and social system from which the poorly educated is automatically excluded.

Experience has shown that having good schools and well-trained teachers in sufficient numbers is not adequate to guarantee school attendance by children from disadvantaged backgrounds because of poverty, farm work, and chores in addition to caring for the youngest, especially by girls; these are real barriers to schooling in many communities.
